What is it?
Fillers most commonly use hyaluronic acid based products. They are injected into defined areas to address volume loss associated with ageing and the appearance of certain pronounced lines.
How is it planned?
Facial proportions, skin thickness and volume distribution are assessed during the examination. Which area, which product and what quantity are planned individually. A gradual approach that preserves a natural appearance is preferred.
Procedure and recovery
Swelling, redness or bruising may appear afterwards and usually subsides within a few days. Recovery varies by person and by treated area.
Possible risks
Asymmetry, irregularity, prolonged swelling and, rarely, vascular complications may occur. For this reason the procedure must be performed by a physician after a detailed assessment.
