Botulinum Toxin

What is it?
Botulinum toxin temporarily limits the contraction of facial muscles. It is used on areas such as the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes to soften the appearance of lines caused by facial movement. The effect is not permanent and gradually wears off.
How is it planned?
Planning begins with an examination. The way your facial muscles work, the depth of the lines and your expectations are assessed, and the areas and quantity are decided accordingly. The aim is a measured result that preserves your own expression.
Procedure and recovery
The procedure itself is short. Temporary redness or slight swelling may appear at the injection points. Aftercare instructions are explained to you separately.
Possible risks
Bruising, tenderness, headache and, rarely, temporary drooping of the eyelid may occur. All risks are discussed in detail during the consultation.
